SA lawyer elected to the board of PEOPIL
In Brief Cape Town lawyer Tzvi Brivik was elected as South Africa’s representative to the board of governors of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) at an annual conference held in Valencia, Spain, last month.
Mr Brivik said that he would act s the liaison officer between the board of PEOPIL an local associations such as the South African Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and other international associations, including the American Association for Justice.
PEOPIL was established in 1997. The association is a registered lobbyist with the European Parliament and it contributes to debates in the European Commission and European Parliament.
